As part of PoC done for one of our strategic projects, HFCL IO Outdoor Access Point, ion4e, with its advanced external antenna exhibited excellent wireless coverage up to 600 meters. With only 2 ion4e units deployed back to back, the solution demonstrated a Wi-Fi coverage of over 1 km across the railway tracks, which will enable us to exchange crucial data over Wi-Fi when train is in proximity of junctions.

Being one of the most famous national parks in India, we were looking for a solution that would ensure an optimum level of service quality to maintain continuous surveillance and vigil. The PM-Wani WiFi implementation in Baidebettu village really enabled the local population to go digital for learning, banking, entertainment and e-governance. Without the PM-Wani scheme, the entire village was disconnected from the world of the internet. HFCL's initiative to provide WiFi connectivity at this remote village is a testimony to their ability and willingness to connect the unconnected. To enable uninterrupted service, the use of Solar Powered WiFi system was a fantastic approach as Baidebettu faces regular power disruptions due to its topography and climatic conditions.
