The High Energy Materials Research Laboratory (HEMRL) stands as one of the premier research facilities within the Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), situated in Pune, Maharashtra. Established with the aim of advancing research and development in the domain of high-energy materials and associated technologies, HEMRL holds a distinguished reputation for its contributions to defense science. The laboratory's primary objective revolves around the formulation, design, and development of a wide spectrum of high-energy materials critical for defense applications, such as propellants, high explosives, pyrotechnics, polymeric substances, liners/insulators, and various other specialized compounds.

Got a very nice response regarding the high-speed Wi-Fi being provided by HFCL team. The existing college Wi-Fi usually peaks at 20 Mbps that is insufficient for large number of students visiting the campus during the Fest. With HFCL’s Wi-Fi, the students were able to experience flawless Broadband Internet with data rates of more than 500 Mbps. The students were extremely satisfied as they were able to easily access their social media accounts, do live streaming and use it for multiple other things like video calling and gaming.
